Description of the event:
In 2008, Dr. Alexander spent seven days in a coma due to severe bacterial meningitis. While in coma with his brain shut down, he experienced a spectacular odyssey to realms beyond our known physical universe—an ultra-real journey that ran counter to all conventional neuro-scientific views about brain, mind and consciousness. His challenge to better comprehend this relates to a revolutionary shift now underway within our modern scientific understanding.
Dr. Alexander will discuss some of the essential lessons he has learned and the paramount importance of love in our spiritual health and healing. He will also explain new scientific insights about the brain and consciousness. Karen Newell will share the advanced tools developed by Sacred Acoustics that each of us can use to explore our own connection to inner knowing and the deeper realities of our existence. She discusses the heart’s crucial role in moving us away from the linguistic brain and provides profound insight on personal experience. Then, she will lead the group in a guided sound meditation to experience for themselves that the answers truly lie within us all. There will be ample time to process, ask questions and discuss how to integrate revelations from meditation into everyday living.

Beschrijving van de avond
Dr. Eben Alexander in het eerste deel vertelt hij zijn BDE-verhaal en licht hij zijn nieuwe
wetenschappelijke inzichten toe: we zijn meer dan ons brein! Velen leven op het niveau van het fysieke en het ego. Wie zijn bewustzijn leert verruimen doorbreekt deze begrenzing, leert zijn zielemissie te integreren in zijn leven en de ‘juiste’ beslissingen en oriëntaties nemen. Je gaat gewoon ‘echter’ leven en het antwoord vinden op alle vragen daar waar ze liggen, nl. bij onszelf. Na de pauze nodigt hij ons uit voor een meditatie op basis van’ Sacred Acoustics ‘. Via deze speciale klanken op basis van de ‘binaural beats’- technologie wordt de weg naar innerlijke rust, vrede en concentratie gemakkelijker, aangenamer en effectiever gemaakt. Deze techniek is ontworpen door Sacred Acoustics (www.sacredacoustics.com) en getoetst aan de BDE-ervaringen van Eben, die nu haar huidige partner is. Zij zal zelf deze kennismakingssessie leiden. Tenslotte beantwoordt hij graag alle vragen over zijn ervaringen en inzichten.
