Eben Alexander and Karen Newell, co-founder of Sacred Acoustics, join forces to lead us on an exploration of life and consciousness and to show us how meditating with sound can deepen our connection to the infinite. In 2008 Dr. Alexander had a near-death experience that radically altered his worldview, as he recounted in his mega-bestselling book Proof of Heaven. His subsequent research has led him to believe that spiritually transformative experiences are quite common, and now science is waking up to this reality.

In this workshop Dr. Alexander and Ms. Newell will share the advanced tools developed by Sacred Acoustics that each of us can use to explore our own connection to inner knowing and the deeper realities of our existence. We will experience sound-enhanced meditations that facilitate immersion and interaction with infinite mind and wisdom through the conduit of the heart. We will also engage in lively discussion about the boundaries of self, the oneness of all consciousness, the role of the brain, the illusion of objective reality, time-space relationships, how to integrate insights from meditation into everyday living, and whatever else emerges throughout the day.
